What is Bookings?
Microsoft Bookings is a digital booking tool for planning and scheduling both digital and physical meetings.

What is Bookings for me?
Bookings for me is a digital booking tool that integrates with your available/busy time in your Outlook calendar. Bookings for me is an online service, so you don’t need to download anything.
What is the difference between Bookings and Bookings for me?
In Bookings you set up different services, depending on what you want to offer the customers. In Bookings for me, you make your time in your calendar available for the costumers, so rather than booking a specific service, they book your time. The difference between the two is that you choose what type of service you offer with Bookings, while, in Bookings for me you exclusively offer your time.
When do I use Bookings, versus Bookings for me?
Bookings can be used when you have a service you want others to be able to book, and Bookings for me can be used when you want others to be able to book your time in your personal calendar.
What is a service?
A service is a bookable activity, that you can adjust based on what you want it to contain and depending on what you offer. You can adjust the service’ time, booking confirmation and add reminders to the customer.
How do I find Bookings?
You find Bookings through the Microsoft portal.
- Log in with your Umu-ID in the Microsoft portal
- Look for Bookings in the left-side menu. If you don’t find Bookings, click on All apps and search for Bookings.
Can customers see my personal calendar in in Outlook?
No, your customers can only see your bookings calendar, that you have published for your services or times.
Can I create more than one booking site?
Yes, you can create and manage multiple booking sites on your account. On bookings start page you can see all our booking sites.
Can multiple people manage a booking site?
Yes. The creator of the site can add multiple administrators that can manage and edit the booking site.
Can I create multiple services on the same booking site?
Yes. You can create multiple services, where you can offer different types of activities for customers.
What type of services can Bookings be used for?
You choose what types of services you want to create on your booking site. You can for example use it for study guidance, client meetings, interviews, education, support or counselling.

Can I delete a booking site that I have created?
Yes. If you want to delete a booking site, you make an errand to ServiceDesk, where you add the URL to the booking site and who it is that is ordering the remove of the site.
Can anyone make a booking on the site?
You can choose if you want everyone to be able to book, or if an Umu-ID is required.
Can I use bookings for a room or resource?
Yes. If you want people to be able to book a room or a resource, for example a camera, it must have its own calendar. Contact ITS to create a calendar for a room or resource.
